I admit it; I’ve been hibernating a bit this winter. Or at least, not doing as much photography work as usual. So the first week of spring was a nice time to get a call from a past client asking for photos of a vacation cabin on Hood Canal in western Washington State. If you’re not familiar with the area, don’t be put off by the term “canal” — this is really the western arm of Puget Sound, an inland sea connected to the Pacific Ocean, and home to great water recreation, diverse creatures, and some stunning scenery. This cabin is facing east, and sits right on the edge of the water, with sea lions lounging just offshore and panoramic views of the far side. I could easily see hanging out here for a week, soaking in the views and fresh air. Would you like to visit?
