I recently mentioned my infatuation with macro photography, and my intent to show more soap bubble macros here. Well, my effort at constructing a new DIY soap bubble setup failed miserably needs improvement, and I was unable to capture any of the wonderful swirling soap-film colors I was looking for. So I resorted to blowing bubbles through a flexible straw, and capturing the resulting textures to salvage something from the effort. Like making lemonade from the proverbial lemons, only considerably less thirst-quenching. But don’t worry, the soap hasn’t seen the last of me. (1/50 sec., f/32, ISO 200)
