Can’t remember the name of this flower right now (help?) but it’s one of my favorites to photograph. The unusual shaped petals, rich color, and early appearance in spring make it stand out. As does backlighting by the sun peeking out from behind a cloud. (1/100 sec., f/32, ISO 200).
