Spooky Winter

spooky treesTrees on the campus of The Evergreen State College before their annual winter trim. I believe they are linden trees, but in their leafless state — whether pruned or unpruned — they just make me laugh. They do provide a nice contrast to overcast skies, however, and in person they’re not as foreboding as this dark images suggests.(f/20, 1/1600, ISO 1600 [for reasons I can’t explain now…])
